RULES AND REGULATIONS
  1. The Antarctic Ice Marathon is run over the classic marathon distance of 26.2 miles. There is also a 100k ultramarathon and a half-marathon race if there is sufficient interest. All races may take place simultaneously.
  2. Polar Running Adventures reserves the right to refuse entry to the race if an intending participant is deemed unsuitable for the event.
  3. Registration covers entry to all three events if they are not run concurrently.
  4. Individual results for all three competitions will be categorised into male and female divisions.
  5. Any athlete who exhibits severe conditions that are deemed detrimental to their health may be withdrawn from the race by officials or stopped temporarily while appropriate treatment and advice is administered.
  6. A time limit of 24 hours may be imposed on the 100km race.
  7. The Race Director's decisions are final.

Your submission of this form accepts the Rules and Regulations as outlined above. The overall fee is EUR€9,900, which can be paid in full on registering. Alternatively, entrants can make an initial deposit of €3,300 to reserve their place in the field. A further €6,600 payment is required by September 1st 2010. Please note: there is a limit to the number of participants on the trip.

  3. Make the relevant payment in order to book your place in the 2010 Antarctic Ice Marathon, Half Marathon and 100k races.
  4. Later complete and return a medical information form, personal information form, waiver form, and terms & conditions form provided by the logistics operators, Antarctic Logistics & Expeditions / Adventure Network International.

    These forms will be emailed to you by the race organisers.

The Antarctic Ice Marathon race is scheduled to take place on December 12th 2010.
The 80 South half Marathon will take place on December 13th 2010 (if sufficient interest).
The Antarctic 100k will begin on December 15th 2010.
However, all events may take place simultaneously - with 100k participants being also timed at the marathon point.
