Guinness World Records Entries

2006 Antarctic Ice Marathon competitor Tim Harris (Great Britain) became the youngest person to run marathons on all seven continents in January 2007. Tim is pictured opposite holding his Guinness World Record certificate. It acknowledges that he completed the task at the age of 23 years 339 days.
Raj Patel (Great Britain / India), who participated in the 2007 Antarctic Ice Marathon, has since become the youngest person to run marathons on all seven continents. His paperwork is currently with Guinness. He completed marathons on all seven continents at the age of 22 years 40 days.
Noelle Sheridan (USA), a competitor in the 2006 Antarctic Ice Marathon, had also previously entered Guinness World Records for the shortest duration for a woman to run marathons on all seven continents. Noelle ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven months.
At the 2007 Antarctic Ice Marathon, William Tan (Singapore) additionally became the first wheelchair competitor to finish a marathon on all seven continents. He completed a marathon on the ice runway in Antarctica to finish his seven continents challenge.
