Ice Marathon runner sets Guinness World Record

Raj Patel (Great Britain / India), who participated in the 2007 Antarctic Ice Marathon, has officially become the youngest person to run marathons on all seven continents. Guinness World Records has independently verified that he completed marathons on all seven continents at the age of 22 years 40 days.

Raj replaced another Antarctic Ice Marathon participant, Tim Harris, as the youngest marathoner on all seven continents. Tim had completed the task at the age of 23 years 339 days.
